This weekend we remember those who stood for family and country and sacrificed their lives throughout the more than 200 years of war history of the nation on Memorial Day. We will have parades and family gatherings, barbecues and outdoor activities. The flag will fly on homes, businesses, and be placed on the grave sites of family and friends.
We would like to give thanks to those who have stood for us in the past and those who serve now as well as their families who have stood with them. It is each of them who allow us the opportunity to open our garage doors and take care of our neighbors. Their sacrifice keeps us safe and here we would like to share just a little Memorial Day History with you to help make the holiday more meaningful.
