Specific criteria must be achieved to be eligible for Gold Certification. This section will explore all the requirements and why they were chosen. 

  1. Active AutoCare Membership: Gold Certified partners are experienced with NAPA AutoCare’s value and with the market they occupy. As our program has 45+ industry offerings and hundreds of resources, it takes at least 1 year of active AutoCare membership before being eligible for certification.
  2. Established Business: Business must have been registered with the state with a valid business license for a minimum of 2 consecutive years (24 months).
  3. ASE Certifications: For consideration as a NAPA Gold Certified shop, you must keep at least 1 full-time employee on staff that has an active ASE Master Certification or qualify as an ASE Blue Seal shop.
  4. Well kept property: First impressions make lasting ones, that’s why clean and well kept interiors and exteriors are also a requirement for consideration into the program.
  5. High Customer Satisfaction:  Gold Certified members must actively solicit and monitor online reviews and maintain at least a 4-star rating.
  6. Digital Vehicle Inspection:  Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) program provides accurate proof of the needed repairs and service. This makes it easy for a consumer to receive the inspection.
  7. Consumer Financing Program:  Shop will offer consumer financing through the NAPA EasyPay card for their customers.
  8. Must actively participate in a Business Development Group with other local shops.
